VIDEO: APPROACHING DEADLINE (ALMOST FINISHED!)

This is the Mother Earth Rescue Squad updating this blog.

Right now, we're trying to keep up with the schedule we made ourselves.
(Well actually, President Dinie Zhafri made it and made us follow it...)

We registered into a Thinkquest.com Digital Media project competition. Coincidentally, it (the competition) requires us to do anything about saving the environment, provided that it's digital, of course.

The deadline they give: 27th April 2011.

At first, we thought, "What??? That's not even logically possible!".
Then, we thought positively about it.

We can do it.
If we can do it, LET'S DO IT!!!

Days turned into weeks, and the progress of our video is currently excellent.
We assure you, if nothing's on our way, we'll post the video on this blog, our Facebook page and (maybe) on YouTube before the deadline.


And we want to thank you all again for continuously giving support to us.

DETAILS ON M.E.R.S.

Hi there!

This is Mother Earth Rescue Squad updating this blog.

Here, we show you what exactly is M.E.R.S..

The acronym stands for Mother Earth Rescue Squad.

Our mission is to kickstart a movement of teenagers that aim on giving Mother Earth a new lease of life.

Our vision is to see Mother Earth in the future as a better place to live on.

Our motto is "Make A Change: Let's Do It!!!"

Now, you might think that I (Muhammad Zulfaqar) had created this logo with zero idea of what's behind everything that's in it.

No, actually.

You see, the Earth popping out of a budding sapling signifies Mother Earth being given a new lease of life.
As you can see, our motto's written there.

The base of the sapling, the purple shield-shaped thing there, signifies two things:

1) That the renewed Earth will always get support from everyone from the M.E.R.S. team. That's why the names of all the members are written there.
2) The shield is a copied outline of the badge of the school that united us all together, Tuanku Abdul Rahman School (STAR), Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia:

You can really see the similarity here.

What we really want to say is that there are actually more than 5 members in M.E.R.S..
You might think, "What???"
What we mean is, everyone (i repeat: EVERYONE) who has a conscience on Mother Earth is a member of the Mother Earth Rescue Squad.

Hi! I'm Muhammad Zulfaqar updating this blog.
Right now, we're working very, very hard balancing school life with MERS life.
But still, progress is progress, and we're surely progressing.
I'm sure you all will be astounded by our EPIC video.
